  • Assistant Director of Agriculture: Level 22, Rs.56,100 – 2,05,700/-
  • Agriculture and Horticulture Officer: Level – 20, Rs. 37,700 – Rs.1,38,500/-
Educational qualification
  • Agriculture Officer (Extension): Bachelor Degree in Agriculture (BSc Agriculture); And, should have adequate knowledge of Tamil language.
  • Assistant Director of Agriculture : MSc degree in Agricultural Extension or Agriculture
    the economy Provided that other things being equal, preference will be given to holders of MSc degree in Agricultural Extension.
  • Horticultural Officer: Must have B.Sc, Degree in Horticulture
Age Limit (as on 1st July 2023)
  • Assistant Director of Agriculture: Not more than 32 years.
  • Agriculture and Horticulture Officer: Should not exceed 34 years
