UPSC Success Stories: UPSC released the civil services exam result on 23rd May. Out of which a total of 933 candidates have passed the exam. Every year lakhs of candidates prepare for this exam, but only few candidates succeed in this exam. Many candidates prepare for the exam diligently and taste success while recruiting for the other two posts. One of them is UP Deputy Jailor Mohit Kumar.
Mohit Kumar, a resident of UP’s Meerut district, holds the post of Deputy Jailor at District Jail Mainpuri. Who achieved success by securing 512 rank in UPSC exam. Mohit Kumar was congratulated by higher authorities on his success. Mohit Kumar’s father Pitam Singh works in a private job. Although his mother Kusumlata is a housewife. She also has a younger sister who is currently studying.
Succeeded after many attempts
Mohit Kumar says that he has faced failure in many attempts before. He has cleared the main examination three times before. He cleared the exam in 2019 and became a Deputy Jailor. Mohit joined Mainapuri District Jail as Deputy Jailor in March this year. Mohit’s father says that his father i.e. Mohit’s grandfather used to make pottery in Dataram village. It was his and the whole family’s dream that Mohit would one day become a senior officer, which is now being fulfilled. Mohit was very smart in studies from the beginning. By clearing the UPSC examination, he fulfilled everyone’s dream and brought fame to the district. Mohit achieved this feat in his 8th attempt.
